YOUR VISIT, YOUR CHOICE

Privacy policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

WhatAFind is a family-run product discovery and editorial website. This page explains how we handle information when you visit whatafind.ca or contact us.

Optional analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” we use Google Analytics to understand which pages people visit, how they reach the site, how far they scroll, and which links they follow to retailers or our social accounts. Analytics may collect browser and device information, approximate location, and identifiers stored in cookies.

We don’t load Google Analytics until you agree. Choosing “No thanks” lets you use the site without it. You can change your choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection from this browser; it does not automatically erase information already collected.

We keep your analytics preference in your browser for up to six months. Our Google Analytics cookies are configured to expire after six months, subject to browser settings and renewal during later visits. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our website tag.

Google processes analytics information on our behalf, potentially outside Canada. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Hosting and security

Our hosting providers, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP addresses, request details, and security logs. Security cookies may be used independently of optional analytics.

Retailers and social platforms

Product and social links take you to other websites. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them. We do not receive your payment details or order information from these links, and an outbound click does not tell us whether you bought something.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use that information to respond and handle your request. Please do not send payment details or other sensitive information.

Questions and requests

For questions about this policy or requests concerning information you have shared with us, email picknpack.ca@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity and clarify which information your request concerns.

We will update this page when our practices change.
