Mom’s body-care routine: CeraVe in the morning, Palmer’s at night
Mom’s two body-care products: CeraVe Moisturizing Cream in the morning and Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil at night.
Mom has a cream for the morning and an oil for the night. I have fur. Here’s what she uses.

In the morning
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream
Mom likes CeraVe Moisturizing Cream in the morning because it doesn’t leave her skin feeling sticky or oily.
She says it doesn’t have a fragrance, either. If she decides to wear perfume, there aren’t multiple scents fighting each other.
It’s a steady, reliable choice for her. She thinks this is her second tub.

At night
A familiar choice at night
She thinks this is her third bottle of Palmer’s Skin Therapy Oil. She likes how it feels on her skin: soothing and warm. That’s a big part of why she keeps coming back to it.
She wouldn’t call it her holy grail. It’s a familiar, comfortable choice. When she calls it a “safe choice,” she means she knows she likes using it.
She just wishes the bottle were a little bigger.
There’s barely any oil left in this one. It’s hard to spot in the photo, but look near the bottom, just below the M in the embossed PALMER’S lettering. That little line is how much she has left. I checked. Not much.
My family uses the products. I report back. Rent is apparently still due.
