A practical checklist for comparing product details, sellers, delivery, and returns before choosing a retailer.
Match the product, not just the photo
Before comparing two listings, check the brand, model number, size, colour, materials, and quantity. Similar photos can show different variants. A bundle, replacement part, and complete product may also look alike at a glance.
Check what comes in the box
Read the included-items list. Look for accessories, charging cables, adapters, filters, or refills you would need to use the item. For electronics, check the listed compatibility and power requirements against your own equipment.
Read the seller and delivery details
Check who sells the item and who ships it. Enter your Canadian delivery address to see the retailer’s available delivery options and estimated arrival dates. Don’t assume a delivery estimate shown for another location applies to you.
Compare the final order details
Look at the currency, quantity, selected variant, delivery charges, and any other charges shown before confirming an order. A headline price alone does not tell you whether two offers are equivalent.
Know the return process
Read the return window, item-condition requirements, return address, and who pays return shipping. Check the policy for the specific seller and item. Save the listing and order confirmation so you have a record of what you selected.

Ask the retailer to confirm any detail that matters to your decision. A short description or product photo cannot answer every question, and uncertainty is a good reason to pause before buying.
