The attraction is a clear surface
The WhatAFind post presents a wireless charger installed beneath a desk, leaving the charging hardware out of sight from above. It is a tidy idea for a workspace where cables tend to collect around the phone. It does not eliminate the charger’s own power connection, so the setup still needs a route for that lead and a suitable place for its power supply.
Measure before mounting
Check the exact charger’s supported surface materials and thickness range against your desk. Include any mat or cover you intend to keep between the phone and the desktop. Confirm phone and case compatibility, mounting requirements, and the specified power adapter. These details are especially important for an installation where the charger is hidden: the desktop becomes part of the charging arrangement.
Make the invisible target usable
A hidden charger is only convenient if you can put the phone in the right place without repeatedly searching for it. Consider whether the kit includes a positioning guide or surface marker, and whether that location fits the way you use the desk. Look for model-specific charging information instead of assuming the performance of an ordinary charging pad. We have not measured this unit’s speed or heat.
