The problem is the stack

The benefit to look for is access: being able to remove the pan you want without first relocating several others. Extra slots are useful only when the pans remain easy to take out and put back. This is a layout decision as much as a storage purchase.
Measure around the obstacles
Start with the cupboard you intend to use. Measure the clear opening and the usable interior, accounting for the shelf above, door hinges, and anything already stored there. Then compare the rack dimensions and available configurations in the listing. Include handles and lids in the space calculation. A pan can fit between two dividers while its handle still prevents the door from closing.
Adjustability has a trade-off
Wider gaps accommodate deeper cookware, but leave fewer positions available in the same space. Plan around your own set instead of assuming the advertised tier count equals the number of pans you can store. Check the specified weight limits and whether the rack is intended for your heavier pieces.
