AMAZEAR Standard camera grip: mounting, remote and tripod checks

A guide to the AMAZEAR Standard phone camera grip: magnetic case fit, Bluetooth controls, tabletop use and the separate fill-light option.

Based on WhatAFind’s Instagram posts and product information. Not a hands-on review.

One handle, three ways to frame a shot

A phone is easy to carry, but holding it for a photo, extending it for a selfie and leaving it on a table are different tasks. The AMAZEAR Z3 combines a handheld grip, extending selfie stick and small tripod. Its detachable Bluetooth controller lets the handle and shutter button work separately. This guide examines the seller listing and the option selected for WhatAFind; it is not a hands-on review.

Standard Grip means no fill light

Our shopping link opens the White / Standard Grip selection, ASIN B0GV79L2RV. The retailer also offers a separate Grip with Fill Light option. Although the Instagram caption mentions a light, the product featured here is the Standard Grip, without that accessory. Check both the colour and set name before checkout. Shared listing pictures can show accessories from another bundle, so use the selected option and included-items description to confirm what you are buying.

Check the phone and case together

The seller describes a magnetic mount for MagSafe-compatible phones and an included ring for other phones or cases. Compatibility involves your case as well as your handset: confirm where the ring should attach and whether the case material is suitable before applying it. Ask the seller about your specific phone-and-case combination if it is unclear. Before extending the stick, check the attachment over a safe surface and follow the supplied mounting instructions. We have not tested its holding force.

A remote button still needs a compatibility check

The listing advertises shutter, focus and mode controls through a detachable Bluetooth remote, with USB-C charging. Do not assume every advertised control behaves identically on every phone or camera app. Confirm support for your operating system and the app you actually use, then test the shutter and any extra controls before relying on them for a trip or recording. The inspected information does not establish battery runtime or charging time. Those remain questions for the seller or manual.

Think tabletop, not floor-standing tripod

The seller lists a folded handle around 11 cm long and a tabletop height up to 48 cm. Treat those as listing figures, not independent measurements. For a video call, consider the height of the table and where the phone lens will sit; the stand may still need a different position to frame your face comfortably. Set it on a level surface, check balance with your phone attached and follow the manual for extension limits. No load rating or wind-resistance result was verified, so we cannot promise stability outdoors or with extra accessories.

Decide which job matters most

If you mainly want a side handle and a removable shutter button, confirm mounting and remote compatibility first. If you mainly want a stand, check the height and footprint against your desk. If lighting is the reason for buying, this Standard Grip selection does not include the fill light. Use the retailer link for current price, delivery and returns. WhatAFind has not tested handling comfort, remote reliability or image quality, and makes no claim that the grip improves your camera itself.
